A new mural in Beiseker that commemorates the community's centennial hopes to celebrate the pioneers of the past and the progress of the village over the last 100 years.

The fashion show will feature both men's and ladies' wedding attire from 1921 to 2021, highlighting the different fashions in every decade.

Beiseker is set to kick off the Village's postponed centennial celebrations next weekend.

The community clean up will be followed by an appreciation barbeque in front of NAPA on main street in Beiseker.

The Beiseker Station Museum hosted an afternoon of music, fun, prizes, and refreshments for locals on May 14, while dedicating signs commemorating the present and past buildings on the village's Main Street.

Lace up your running shoes, Beiseker seniors, and join Beiseker recreation coorindator Stephanie Young on a community walk every Tuesday at 9 a.m.

"A number of emergency responders are on site," a tweet from the County stated. "Wind direction is rapidly changing, and visibility may be affected."

Beiseker motocross enthusiasts are rallying community members together in support of a local sports spot that would provide motorbike riders in the village and the surrounding area with safe and legal access to a local motocross track.

Since its incorporation in 1921, Beiseker has been recognized as an agricultural hub with a pioneering past. In recent decades, it has become known for its local amenities, camping facilities, and fun-loving mascot – Squirt the Skunk.

At the Feb. 28 meeting, Beiseker Village council approved spending $208,000 to repair the east wall of the village's sewage lagoon.
