Airdrie RCMP has described the suspect as a male in his 20s with light skin and parted, short red hair.

Each Friday at the Airdrie Public Library (APL), local kids who are struggling to learn how to read get some key moral support from their furry buddies of the Chestermere-based Community Therapy Dog Society.

Having previously showcased her artistic talent and passion for the Calgary Stampede through adorning local business windows with her art, Bruglemans-LaBelle's creative journey has now taken an exciting turn as she embarks on the realm of children's literature.

As a result of council’s approved motion on Monday, the Airdrie Youth of Board Affairs (ABYA) and the Mayor for a Day Challenge are set to undergo changes this year, aimed at maximizing their impact on the city's youth.

With the 2023 Alberta provincial election coming up on May 29, political candidates have hit the campaign trail running as they try to sway voters in their direction. Thousands of signs have been distributed throughout the province and many of these lawn and roadside promotions have been a target of vandalism.

“We love what we do, we have a real passion for what we do, we are proud to work in the tourism industry and we are proud to be one of Alberta’s signature family tourism attractions,” Williams said.

“I have an amazing team,” she said. “That’s why we’ve been here for 15 years now.”

“I know we serve many customers and we are very involved in the community. At the same time, there are so many good pest control companies around, so for people to choose us, we take it with great gratitude,” he said. 

Offering services such as hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings and prescriptions, and even ear wax removal, Rolseth said it’s been highly rewarding to help others with their hearing needs.

Upon arrival, AFD observed light grey smoke on the main level of the two-story residential home. Smoke alarms had been activated, but one resident remained in the house, attempting to extinguish the blaze with water.
